What actions are needed in the era of the climate crisis?

Action For Earth believes that global cooperation is urgently necessary to overcome the crisis we face today.

Despite the world's agreement to limit the rise in global temperatures to below 1.5℃, we have not actively responded due to the lack of a new vision to replace the existing social and economic systems.

Action For Earth focuses on 'sustainable development' as a value for the great transition from a fossil-based civilization to a new social and economic order.

Sustainable development, derived from the global leaders and civil society in Rio, Brazil in 1992, will be the guiding principle for overcoming the crisis.

Action For Earth aims to embed the values and governance experience of sustainable development in South Korea's legislation and administration, creating a unique model by connecting, collaborating, supporting, and evaluating efforts.

Also, we will support the formulation and implementation of sustainable development strategies to prevent developing countries from following the unsustainable paths taken by developed nations.

Together with global citizens, we will create a society where everyone can live safe and stable lives in a prosperous ecological environment.
